One of the german language's greatest stages is the Burgtheather, which is built between 1874 - 1888 by Karl Hasenauer and Gottfries Semper over the Ringstrasse. The building has a Renaissance facade structured by reliefs and the interior embodies the French Baroque and is decorated with frescoes by Gustav Klimt.
