Stephansdom is at the center of the Old City Vienna (1147) and has become a symbol of the city. This is the seat of the Cardinal - Archbishop. Stephansdoms has reached its todays final shape after renovations because of several fires and damages, the last in hte second World War.
The gothis inside is every impressive also with the Pilgrams masterpiece 4 meters high pulpit and his self portrayal on the wall as a "Fenstergucker" (peeping through a window).
The tower is open to the visitors daily until 5 pm, where you can have a panoramic view over the old city.
